Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) is an annual herb in the Apiaceae family. It grows up to 50 cm tall and has delicate, finely divided leaves. The seeds are small, round, and yellowish-brown when mature.
Historically significant, these seeds were found in Tutankhamun's tomb and mentioned in the Bible, showcasing their ancient use in Egyptian and Hebrew cultures, as well as their spread through Europe by the Romans.
