Collection: Throat Chakra

The throat chakra, also known as Vishuddha, is the fifth chakra in the seven main chakras of the body. It is located at the throat, and is associated with the elements of ether and sound. The throat chakra is responsible for communication, self-expression, and creativity. When the throat chakra is balanced, you are able to communicate your thoughts and feelings clearly and honestly. You are also able to express yourself creatively through art, music, or writing. If the throat chakra is blocked, you may experience difficulty communicating, either verbally or through your creative expression. You may also feel inhibited or afraid to speak your truth.

Here are some ways to open and balance the throat chakra.

  • Yoga: Fish Pose (Matsyasana) and the Neck Stretch (Kapalbhati)
  • Sound: Chanting or singing
  • Crystals: aquamarine, turquoise, or azurite
  • Speak your truth: Free yourself from the burden of carrying around unexpressed emotions.
  • Express yourself creatively: Find a creative outlet that allows you to express yourself freely.
  • Spending time in nature, Practicing deep breathing exercises and Meditation
